  1. What is Moriah Plus?
    Moriah Plus is an after-school program designed to help students reach their fullest potential. We provide academic support, recreational activities, and enrichment classes in a safe, structured environment. Our program enhances social, emotional, and educational development, offering a helpful solution for dual-working families. We proudly serve students from Toddlers and up.

  2. When does Moriah Plus run?
    Moriah Plus follows the Moriah School calendar and begins on the first day of school and runs through the end of the school  year.  Our sessions are structured around the following schedules:

  • Early Childhood Classes: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

  • Lower School Classes: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

  • Power Hour Sessions: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm and 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

  • Friday Classes: Held for one hour immediately following dismissal.

  1. What is Power Hour?
    Power Hour runs alongside Moriah Plus, offering a supervised hour of homework help, games, and projects led by our program monitors. This option is available for students from Toddlers and up. Families can register for one or both sessions per day by emailing us, making it a great option for extending the school day. We also accommodate drop-ins based on availability.

  2. How can we request a customized class?
    We love bringing new ideas to life! Simply gather a group of 8 to 10 students and email us with your preferred day, timing, and class topic. We will do our absolute best to make it happen for your group.

  3. Can my child join a class designed for a different age group?
    We always try our best to accommodate special requests to fit your child's needs. Please feel free to reach out to us directly so we can discuss the best options for your child.

  4. What is your program refund policy?

  • Before the Quarter Starts: You can receive a full refund for cancellations at least one week prior to the start of each quarter.

  • After the First Class: We cannot issue refunds after the program begins. However, you may switch your child to a different available class. Alternatively, you can receive a partial program credit for the remaining classes.

  • Low-Enrollment Cancellations: If a class does not meet its minimum registration requirement, it will be canceled. In this case, you can choose an alternative class or receive a full refund.

  1. What is your makeup class policy?
    Moriah Plus classes follow the main school calendar and are canceled if Moriah closes due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. Makeup classes are scheduled only if a specific class is canceled more than twice in a quarter. If an instructor is absent, we will provide a qualified substitute to run a similar, engaging session for the children that day.

  2. What is Moriah Plus Mini-Camp?                                                                         
    Moriah Plus offers mini-camps in June between school and camp, and in August between camp and school. Moriah Plus also offers Election Day camp in November. For more information, please email [email protected].
